It wasn’t until this video that I realized I’ve taken for granted my own experiences traveling by way of the all mighty road trip. I’m always blown away by insanely large objects on trailers but I think my favorite part is the reflective mental state that comes with watching the horizon approach then pass underneath me as the miles slide by. I get the same thing now from my walks in the woods when I’m backpacking which makes me wonder, what would Thoreau think of the road trip.
